MINDANAO CONSOLIDATED COOPERATIVE BANK (MCCB)

Operates as a cooperative bank. It was formed through the consolidation of three constituent cooperative banking institutions of Mindanao — Cooperative Bank of Misamis Oriental (CBMO), Bukidnon Cooperative Bank (BCB), and Cooperative Bank of Agusan Norte - Butuan City (COBAN). MCCB provides a wide range of banking products and services including loans, deposits, special lending programs together with its partners and other banking services to the strategic locations of its operations in Mindanao.

On September 25, 2012, CBMO, BCB, and COBAN agreed to merge as MCCB with the goal of strengthening the cooperative banking sector in Mindanao. On April 27, 2016, MCCB was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and was approved to operate as a cooperative bank by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on December 15, 2016.

MCCB envisions to be the bank of choice for cooperatives, farmers, fishermen, small entrepreneurs, and other clients and commits to providing efficient, responsive, and innovative financial services to institutional and individual clients.

MCCB has a network of 20 branches, 2 Branch Lite Units (BLU’s) and 29 Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) serving as acquirer. Development of the bank’s customer intensive inclusion and linkage is a continuing task which aims at serving comprehensively the Bank’s target market niche.

BRIEF HISTORY OF
CBMO

Cooperative Bank of Misamis Oriental (CBMO) was established on December 13, 1979 as approved by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas with a modest capital of P576,000.00 put up by 268 Samahang Nayon as incorporators. For 37 years, it has expanded through the strategic locations of Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, Iligan City, Surigao City, Gen San, Tagum and Davao City having a total of 11 branches and a corporate office located in Cagayan de Oro. The P576,000 has vastly increased to more than One Billion Pesos (P1,000,000,000.00) of Total Assets with over 400 Samahang Nayon incorporators.

COBAN

The existence of the cooperatives organized to respond to the needs of the less privileged affected by the socio-economic condition of the City of Butuan and Province of Agusan del Norte, triggered the formation of Cooperative Bank of Agusan Norte – Butuan City in 1984 with an initial capital of P546,500.00 with a hundred Samahang Nayon incorporators. In 32 years, it has grown to a total assets of P33M with over 200 Samahang Nayon incorporators.

BCB

Bukidnon Cooperative Bank (BCB) was organized in 1977 by Samahang Nayon organizations in Bukidnon, aiming to engage business of extending credit to all types of cooperatives and members. The birth of BCB was spearheaded by 15 authorized representatives from the Incorporating Kilusang Bayan Farmers, Barrio Cooperatives & Samahang Nayons. After 39 years of being the Trusted Coop Bank of Bukidnon, its Stockholders has increased to more than three hundred Cooperatives all throughout the province. It had launched five branch offices serving 20 municipalities and two cities in Bukidnon with the commitment for the countryside development activities in the province.
